Merry Christmas everybody! I hope y’all had a great Christmas – first off, I’d like to apologize for this semi-hiatus I’ve been on. Mainly because I’ve been super busy, and I’ve been baking quite a lot (definitely see more mouthwatering recipes coming soon), blogging has taken a backseat. BUT – I couldn’t resist squeezing in one last apple recipe before 2016 finishes! This time, I decided to downsize my normal tarts because there’s only 4 of us at home, and I found that this size of tart was just perfect for us.

I’m back with another apple recipe. I know. Again?? But I can’t help it. This time though, it’s with an Asian twist – well not really, it doesn’t really have any Asian flavors, but the wanton wrappers are Asian and I bought them in Asia – so that counts.. right? I’ve had these wanton wrappers in my freezer for aaaggeeess because I was experimenting using them instead of filo pastry when I made apple strudel (another apple dessert – typical). But one packet had like 50 sheets which was way more than I needed, so I ended up leaving them in the freezer. Good thing they last long, because I found a super quick, delicious way to use them!
